There is no cure for spinal stenosis, but there are treatments to help relieve symptoms. Treatments can ease swelling and pain. If they don't do the trick, your physician can recommend a higher dose treatments.

X-rays. Using a small exposure to radiation, X-rays can reveal bony changes, such as bone spurs that may be narrowing the space within the spinal canal. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In most cases, this is the imaging test of choice for diagnosing spinal stenosis.
